In Fizzy's Stupendous Steppers children will explore how quick off the mark they are, and how many steps they take to do different activities.
They will have fun observing and investigating reaction
times, and measuring distance and number of steps.
The unit has three lessons:
- Lesson 1 - Which kind of step is fastest?
- Lesson 2 - Can I improve my reaction time if I practise?
- Lesson 3 - How active am I?
You can find teaching notes and photocopiable pupil sheets for
all three lessons on the ages 5-7 resources page. Children
can also play Fizzy's Super Speedy game to find out how
fast their reactions are.
