I'm a Scientist, In the Zone
To coincide with the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics Wellcome Collection presents ‘Superhuman’ an exhibition which examines the extraordinary lengths people go to in order to improve or enhance their performance.
Three linked events including: The opportunity for young people to work in a mock drugs testing laboratory; a debate for coaches on their roles and responsibilities to their athletes, and an interactive public exhibition exploring performance enhancement in sport.
Interactive activities educate how science is used in sport to improve athletes training, diet, tactics and performance. Specific school workshops days support the main exhibit days to entertain the whole family.
